Under the able and very much needed guidance of my respected guru, who not only introduced me to the world of coordination but also helped me in creating an identity unique enough to nourish my self esteem, I hereby list some of my achievements: I have been certified with a MULTI DISCIPLINARY FOUNDATION for Creative Arts certification from ARTS UNIVERSITY BOURNEMOUTH, United Kingdom and was a part of the troop which performed in the CHILDREN'S INTERNATIONAL FOLK ART FESTIVAL in Xinjiang, CHINA. At national level, I was a part of the troop which won the first prize in a dance category in the UDBHAV UTSAV FESTIVAL held in Gwalior for 2 years... Was a part of the troop which was awarded the Critical Acclaim and Best Choreography in National Competitions of reputed DPS society... I was also honored by receiving the opportunity of performing in the nation meet of British Council, India. I was one of the many who performed in the WORLD CULTURAL FESTIVAL by Shri Shri held on a vast scale in the national capital, New Delhi.

I've had the opportunity to perform in the presence of honorable President of India, Sri Ram Nath Kovind. ( DD National) . My performances in prestigious platforms in India were - Max Mueller Bhavan, New Delhi. India International centre, New Delhi. Chinmaya Mission, New Delhi. Epicentre, Gurgaon (Solo Performance , India World Cultural Forum ). World Cultural Festival, Delhi. IIT Kanpur. I have worked as an intern at the National Museum,New Delhi and as a climate counsellor under International Center for culture and education. Currently I'm pursuing History hons at Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University . Learning dance has not only helped me academically but also made me a better person. It has taught me discipline.

*Represented India at UNESCO's International Art and Culture Festival in Xinxiang, China in 2015 *Performed at World Culture Festival organised by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in New Delhi in 2016 *Ideated, Scripted and Choreographed her own dance drama spreading awareness about environmental degradation and need to take action on it: "Astitva: An Ode to the Rhythm of Nature" (www.astitvaofnature.weebly.com). Was awarded CIS International Student Award for the same dance initiative (www.cois.org/for-schools/student-awards-recognition > go to Year 2016). *Qualified Bharatanatyam Dancer with 5th Year Diploma from Prayag Sangeet Samiti (scored Distinction in both Practical and Theory aspects) *Performed at various platforms locally, including: - Epicentre, Gurgaon (2014, 2015); - Regularly invited to perform at various Durga Puja stages across Gurgaon (since 2013) - Regularly invited to perform at Pathways World School, Aravali (since 2015); - Ansal University, Gurgaon (2016)

This was a really huge achievement for me as I not only got to represent my school Suncity, but also got a chance to represent my country, India. Reaching there no one knew us by our names or schools what everyone knew was that this is Team India. It was an enriching experience and I got to upgrade my dancing skills. For this I would surely like to thank my beloved guru, Mrs. Baishali Sarkar from the bottom of my heart. She’s always taught us that – "Practise like you never won, perform like you never lost." At last I would like to quote that – "I do not try to dance better than anyone else. I only try to dance better than myself."
